Welcome To Sherwood Centre Dental Clinic
What To Expect At Your First Visit
Thank you for visiting our website and learning about the services and support our team provides every time you step into our practice. Choosing a new dentist is a very important decision – and there’s a lot that goes into it – so please call us if you have any questions. We’ll be happy to answer them honestly and thoroughly. It’s our hope that we can welcome you to our dental family.
Please fill out the easy-to-use,
private, and secure Intake Form.
TREATMENT COORDINATION – At Sherwood Centre Dental Clinic, we work together to deliver top-notch customer service in a calm atmosphere. Your dental care and its administration will be provided with kindness, understanding, and efficiency. Please attend your appointment 5-10 minutes early so that you can complete your Patient Intake Form, or complete it online now.
HYGIENE – When you come in for your first appointment, we’ll ensure a comfortable amount of time to get to know each other and to get the fundamentals of your dental care needs and wants. We will spend a bit more time with you at this first appointment than with your regular recare appointments so that we can do a thorough assessment to ensure an accurate treatment plan that’s specific to your smile.
PRACTICE TOUR – Sometimes patients feel more comfortable having a pre-appointment tour – and if you’re one, we encourage you to call! Meet our doctors and our team. If you’re like many people who are anxious about dentistry, your tour will help you feel more comfortable. Please call us to arrange your visit!
DOCTOR CHECKUP – Meet Dr. Voravong or Dr. Kim to discuss your oral health needs and desires. The findings of a thorough exam will be reviewed with you and a treatment plan will be developed based on what will be best for you. We’ll recommend a personalized recare schedule, and if you’d like, we can even cover some cosmetic options.
DIAGNOSTICS – Used to create a baseline upon which future care is determined, we will use digital x-rays to see what the eye can’t … and we’ll share our findings with you almost immediately!
