Laser Treatment for Gingivectomy, Crown Lengthening & Cold Sores

A fractured tooth that is damaged by decay or injury with not enough tooth structure to support a crown requires a laser treatment. In a process known as gingivectomy, we laser the gum area to increase the amount of available tooth structure so that the tooth can support a crown. In addition, tissue can be re-contoured with a laser to create a more pleasing smile.

Those who are prone to getting cold sores can be helped by using the laser on the cold sore to arrest its development and to decrease future outbreaks.
