Meet Dr. Albert Voravong
General Dentist
Education
Dr. Albert began his undergraduate studies at Concordia University College before studying dentistry at the University of Alberta in 2007. There he earned his Bachelor of Medical Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Albert loves practicing dentistry in Sherwood Park. He was born in Tofield when his parents immigrated in the early 1980s and raised in Sherwood Park! This community holds a special place in his heart.
Treatment Philosophy
The most rewarding part of dentistry is bringing a smile to someone’s face and changing the way they view dentistry. “I’ll help you feel as though dentistry isn’t as painful and scary as once perceived,” he says. There’s nothing quite like the feeling that comes with helping patients love their smiles.
Away From The Practice
Dr. Albert is married to his high school sweetheart, Christa. They are the proud parents of six beautiful children. When he’s not busy helping people like you discover the benefits of a healthy smile, Dr. Albert enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and playing all sports – though he’s particularly passionate about golf and basketball. He’s a big part of the Sherwood community and liked by all.
Meet Dr. Silvia Kim
General Dentist
Education
Dr. Silvia graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997. She brings more than 20 years of experience to Sherwood Centre Dental Clinic.
Treatment Philosophy
As her patient, Dr. Silvia will care for your smile just as she would for her family and friends. She will take all your concerns and wishes into consideration while using her expertise to offer solutions for your smile that will make a difference. Her approach will set your mind at ease.
Away From The Practice
When Dr. Silvia isn’t busy improving smiles, you can find her in the kitchen (she loves baking!), trying out new restaurants, biking, and travelling with friends and family.
Meet Dr. Raj Randhawa
General Dentist
Education
Dr. Raj Randhawa is a general dentist, born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry with Honors of Distinction at Concordia University of Edmonton. He then completed his dental degree at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating magnum cum laude. Dr. Raj has been happy to call Sherwood Park home for the last 10 years and is excited to work in the community he has grown to love.
Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Raj’s approach to every patient is to provide individualized evidence-based dental care with warmth and respect. Dr. Raj places an emphasis on preventative health and educating patients. He takes the time to consider each patient’s health, habits, and dental goals in developing a treatment plan in an effort to provide the best care possible.
Away From The Practice
In his spare time, Dr. Raj enjoys staying active through fitness, travelling, exploring local Edmonton restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. He is an avid Oilers fan and can often be found cheering on the team at Rogers Place.
